Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 26, 2025
This Privacy Policy explains how EzApps (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the PicSwipe mobile application (“PicSwipe” or the “App”).
Summary
- PicSwipe processes your photos on your device. We do not upload or store your photos on our servers.
- You can swipe to keep or delete photos. Deleted photos first move to the in-app PhotoBin, where you can restore or delete permanently.
- We may use privacy-focused analytics and crash reporting to improve stability and features.
- If you purchase a subscription, billing is handled by Apple; we may receive limited purchase metadata via our subscription provider.
Information We Process
Photos & Media (On-Device)
With your explicit permission, PicSwipe accesses your photo library to display and organize images by month and year and to enable swipe-to-delete. All photo analysis and swiping actions happen on your device. We do not transmit your photos or their contents to our servers.
PhotoBin
When you swipe left to delete, photos are first moved to the App’s PhotoBin. You may restore or permanently delete them. PhotoBin contents remain on your device until you take action or uninstall the App.
Diagnostics & Analytics
To understand crashes and app performance, we may use diagnostics such as Firebase Crashlytics. To improve features, we may use privacy-minded analytics such as Amplitude (event counts, device model, OS version, coarse region). These tools do not access your photos.
Purchases & Subscriptions
Purchases are processed by Apple. We may use RevenueCat to validate entitlements and manage subscriptions. We may receive non-sensitive purchase metadata (e.g., product identifier, subscription status, and country) — no full payment details are shared with us.
How We Use Information
- Provide core functionality (grouping by month/year, swipe actions, PhotoBin).
- Maintain and improve performance, stability, and user experience.
- Manage subscriptions and access to premium features.
- Communicate important updates, changes to terms, or support responses.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We may share limited information with service providers strictly to operate the App:
- Apple App Store — payments and distribution.
- RevenueCat — subscription/entitlement management.
- Firebase Crashlytics — crash diagnostics.
- Amplitude — usage analytics (event-level insights).
These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies and security measures.
Your Choices
- Photos Permission: You can grant or revoke Photo Library access at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Photos.
- Delete Photos: Swiped photos go to PhotoBin first; you decide whether to restore or delete permanently.
- Analytics Opt-Out: If we offer an in-app toggle, use it to limit analytics. You can also contact us to request restriction.
Data Retention
Photos remain on your device; we do not host them. Diagnostics and analytics are retained only as long as necessary for the purposes above, subject to provider policies and applicable law. Purchase metadata is retained to manage active entitlements and comply with tax/audit requirements.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards and reputable service providers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we work continuously to protect your information.
Children’s Privacy
PicSwipe is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
International Transfers
Depending on your location, your information may be processed outside your country by our service providers. We rely on appropriate safeguards as required by applicable laws.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, please contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity to respond.
Third-Party Links
The App or site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted within the App or on our website. Your continued use of PicSwipe after changes indicates acceptance.
